Vandal runs on the people who actually go places and tell everyone what's worth their time. The ones who tagged "hidden back patio" before anyone knew about it. The ones who found the good banh mi spot three blocks off the main drag. The ones who know the difference between "cozy" and "cramped."
Those people deserve a little recognition. That's what Cred is.
What is Cred?
Cred is your reputation in the Vandal community. Tag places, have those tags confirmed by other people who actually show up — your Cred grows. Simple as that.
It's not a score you grind. It's a reflection of whether your local knowledge is legit. The more people trust your tags, the more Cred you earn.
Who's got the most Cred?
Check the leaderboard to see who the top contributors are — and whether you're among them. Turns out knowing every good spot in your city has its perks.
Your profile shows it off
Head to your profile to see your Cred stat alongside everything else. It's a quick snapshot of how much you've contributed — and motivation to get out there and tag something new.
A few other things in 2.1
Pull-to-refresh is now everywhere it should be — feed, profile, notifications. The app also handles being offline like a champ now instead of just quietly breaking. The app is also better at telling you what's going on when things don't load — less mystery, more clarity.
